"The One That Got Away"

So, today I was given a task to create a series of photos using matched up subjects and mediums from pieces of paper. While the combinations seemed interesting and funny in some cases, I'm a bit concerned with how I'll get them all done. It's very hard for me to stay on task with something, and once I do, I end up scraping the idea because I don't think it's good enough.

It's an issue I need to work on.
So anyway, the combinations are as follows:

-Something amazingly good looking using a photo from an album
-A pervert using a Serge Eisenstein style montage (I'll have to google that....)
-Sleeping using whatever medium I choose
-Something of the opposite sex using a film still
-A mugshot/lowlife/criminal using a photograph
-Something old using a surveillance video/photo (very excited to make this one)
-Something/someone rich and smug using a tape recording
-Something/someone middle aged using an old home movie
-A toddler using a formal portrait
-An infant using an environmental portrait.

Looking forward to how this comes out. I'll post updates as to where I'm at as often as I can.

  1. They're all self-portraits. Hint. That is why you have a partner.
