Luke told me to do a photo test to check my skills. This is what I came up with.
#1. Shoot a portrait of someone on a very bright day in direct sunlight.
ISO: 100
Av: 8.0
Tv: 1/200
#2. Shoot a portrait of someone on a bright day but the person is standing in the shade.
ISO: 100
Av: 5.0
Tv: 1/60
#3. Shoot a portrait on a cloudy day.
ISO: 100
Av: 3.5
Tv: 1/80
#4. Shoot a portrait indoors at night, lit by a single lamp.
ISO: 800
Av: 4.0
Tv: 1/60
#5. Shoot a white object, like a plate, on a white sheet. The plate must look white.
ISO:800
Av: 4.0
Tv: 1/60
#6. Shoot a very dark object against a dark background.
ISO: 1600
Av:4.0
Tv: 1/60
#7. Shoot a portrait of a person with a window behind them on a bright day.
ISO: 100
Av: 4.0

#8. Put a bunch of crap on a table. Get VERY CLOSE to it. Shoot a picture so EVERY OBJECT on it is in focus.
ISO:400
Av: 4.5
Tv: 1/60
#10. ( there's no #9) Shoot a person standing in front of a brick wall. Make sure the wall looks blurry and the person looks sharp.
ISO: 100
Av: 4.5
Tv: 1/125
#11. Shoot a moving car so that the background is sharp and the car is blurry(like it's moving).
ISO: 100
Av: 2.8
Tv: 1/125
#12. Shoot a moving car so that it and the background are sharp.
ISO: 100
Av: 2.8
Tv: 1/200
#13. Shoot a moving car so that the background is blurry and the car is sharp.
ISO: 400
Av: 2.5
Tv: 1/3200
#14. Show your best photo you ever took ever! Write why it is your best in ONE SENTENCE.
It is one of my best photos because it captured the person perfectly while in motion, and because it looks edited but it's not.
#15. Show your favorite photograph by a famous photographer. Why is it a fave? One sentence!
This is Afghan Girl by Steve McCurry. It is a really popular picture, but I love it because of the way all the attention is drawn to the eyes, mouth, and shawl because of how it was focused.
That's my phototest :)
